I adore this. A friend of a family member got in touch as she was having difficulty finding a navy and white whale for her baby’s nursery. She asked if I could help. Not one to turn down a request for help, I scoured the internet for a freebie pattern but couldn’t find anything I liked so I decided have a go at making my own pattern – it looked simple enough. The end result is absolutely gorgeous, I love it and will definitely be making more. I used navy and cream wool but I think it will still look great in any colour combination. I’ve typed up the pattern for future use and I’m even thinking of adjusting the pattern so I can make different sizes to make whale families. I think you’ll agree this little fella has definitely got the “Awwww” factor. To see more of my creations take a look a my Facebook page – Dawn’s Handmade Cards and Gifts. If anybody would like a copy of my pattern please feel free to message me via my facebook page and I’ll send it on to you.
Hello ! I love the stripy whale ! Will you ever publish the pattern ?

Thanks you. I’m very pleased. And the lady who it was for is over the moon – it matches her nursery perfectly she said.
